The Survivor's Handbook
The Survivor's Handbook was written by Neal
D. Barnard, M.D., with the help of Jennifer Reilly, R.D. It
was developed to accompany the Food
for Life Nutrition and Cooking Classes for Cancer Prevention and
Survival. However, it is sufficiently detailed to be used on
its own and will give you important insights into food’s role
in cancer prevention and cancer survival.
Highlights include:
- More than 100 fast and healthy recipes.
- Practical steps for weight control, menu planning,
and healthy eating in restaurants.
- Groundbreaking information about immune-boosting foods,
antioxidants and phytochemicals, and much more.
